A few days back, Airtel Nigeria released a teaser video on YouTube informing us that Airtel Unlimited data plans are coming soon and since then, many of us has been anxiously waiting for the official launch of the packages. And now, Airtel has silently launched the unlimited data packages.
With the Airtel unlimited data plans, you can browse, download, upload and stream videos or even share your connections with your family and friends around you without fear of running out of data and no speed throttling of any kind. The introduction of unlimited data plan by one of our major telecom (Airtel) is a very good idea, but the prices tagged to the packages are not friendly at all.
The Airtel newly released Unlimited data comes in 3 different packages, meaning you can choose any one that best suits you. Let’s take a look at the Airtel unlimited data plans, the prices, and their activation codes.
Airtel Unlimited Data Plans
You can dial *141# and follow prompts or dial the below codes;
- N10,000 Unlimited Package, Valid for 30 days
- N15,000 Unlimited Package, Valid for 30 days
- N20,000 Unlimited Package, Valid for 30 days
How to Activate any of the sUnlimited Data Plans
- For N10,000 Unlimited plan, dial *471#
- For N15,000 Unlimited plan, dial *463#
- For N20,000 unlimited plan, dial *351#
The plan was silently launched and even without any single word or comment from Airtel. Though, from the advert video released by Airtel, the plan was called unlimited data plans and merely looking at the price, the plans suppose to be unlimited for real.
For now, I can’t say if the plan is truly unlimited or capped, but one thing for sure, fair usage policy will attach to it.

Airtel should be transparent for once. They are yet to make the data plan understandable even when i contacted them, some of their CC are not aware of the terns and services for this plan.

It could not have been unlimited with different price tags.. .
Nigerian telecos are the most pathetic set in the whole wide world, they change you for data, they call it free browsing, they cap data allowance, they say it is unlimited….
They get away with these excesses because of our noisemaking senators & other government agencies that are supposed to be holding them on the jugular to deliver efficiently but are rather lousy about everything.
Which one is unlimited 10,15 and 20,000. How can you subscribe to different unlimited dataplans or some dey fast pass some. This is very good news honestly but still this is something that I would wait for someone to tryout before delving into it

It is unlimited but the problem is that you need an airtel wifi router you see unlimited 10 for instance is to connect your airte wifi router to a maximum of 10 people
lol,did it the 1st one is 40gb ,after dat they drop ur speeed to 10hb per secong
connection drops to 10kps and ders frequent discon nection before u reach ur 40gb limit,really frustrating
