This is to inform you as my lovely viewer that MTN Magic Sim Activation is still working well and fine. Some viewers have been asking me lately if they can activate their Sim and the answer is yes. But you have to be wise when activating your Sim because the Magic Sim does not work with new Sims; Mtn do not activate new sim cards again and even if it finally get activated, it will only work for 12hrs not 24hrs.
The both procedures that I have posted are still intact and you can choose to use any of the two methods that pleases you.You can still check the both procedures out hereJust know that whenever you want to activate the 2Hrs plan, please call the Mtn Customer care services in order to avoid the issue of your money being deducted without giving you your 2Hrs plan.
How Do I Identify An Old Sim From A New Sim?
Turn the back of your sim card and you will see 128k which means that is an old sim and when you see values like 32k, 36k or 54k that simply means it is a new Sim card. Don’t even think of registering a new sim card if not just kiss you #250 goodbye.
It doesn’t have anything to do with 070 or 080 but the value at the back. Remember to always activate wisely please.
Hint on How to Get It Done
- Dial *406# to migrate to MTN Pulse cost 0.0#.
- Then recharge your line with 250# or more.
- Next send 2h to 131 or call customer care to subscribe for a 2hr daily plan of 150mb data cap, i prefer the latter cost 250#.
Once you get a confirmation message saying welcome to 2hrs 1-Day Data Plan. Insert your Sim into your modem and browse for say about an hour but nothing more than 2hrs and make sure you don’t exhaust your 150mb data cap. Then remove your Sim and leave it offline for 24hrs Next send reset to 131 and send reset again to 4777 and you are good to go.
Note: Network is really poor so don’ t think it is not working. Sometimes I have to restart my phone before I can browse well.

@¤ MXT LOADED ¤ The msg u received 4rm d 1st msg u sent is ok. Ur 2nd msg must b delivered b4 ur sim can be activated & dey won't reply u with any msg when dat 2nd 1 is sent.
What u need 2 do now is to keep sending d 2nd msg & make sure it is delievered.

@ANON, yea sure u can do it with your phone, i did mine using a nokia torch to activate d 2h data plan at 9t and then switched to my nokia symbian phone. I surfed for abt 1hr 30mins actually downloading new mp3s. When after my last download i didnt exit my browser as nt to receive notification from MTN abt how much i hav used up 4rm my data. I quickly removed d battery @once then i followed the next step given by oga FUNSHO.

thanks so much sir. But i tried this. With 128k sim. My sim browsed for 2days and started receiving a message that i have used 90 minutes of my 2hours plan. Then few minutes it stopped browsing and removed my ballance of 50 naira in my phone.

Reason Why I Failed To Respond to Some Questions On The Above Post
I knew that the above procedure is partially working on some new sim of 32k but in other to avoid lot complain that is not working, this y i recommended only old line of 128k which i know dat it will surely done, when u followed d procedure accordingly.
But when u comment & i notice dat it is d new sim used to try it, i may not response 2 ur question. Am sorry pls.

@Anonymous Yes, the reset to 4777 will only sent without delivered & the magic sim will be activated like that. Mtn network is generally poor in most of areas, u have 2 manage it like that but d issue of "no internet access on ur laptop" may be due to inappropriate installation of modem software, u may repair or re-install ur modem software to fix d error.

Brother, I must commend u for this good work. Actualy I got the code from one site, i tried it but it didn't work. So when I saw it here I tried it yesterday, I downloaded applications of almost 90MB before I removed the line. Then today, I got the message that I'm yet to use my 2H plan, now I had download Avast anti virus (almost 120MB), Adobe reader, Nokia PC suite, Opera and Mozilla Firefox in all I'd used up to 300MB.
