How Can I Activate Mtn Magic Sim?
- Dial *406# to migrate to MTN Pulse cost 0.0#.
- Recharge your MTNSim with #250
- Send 2H to 131 or call customer care to activate it for you
- Once the 2Hrs plan is given to you, browse for like 15min
- Remove the Sim and keep it for 24Hrs.
- After 24Hrs, insert it into any device, then send reset to 131 and send reset again to 4777 and you are good to go.
So simple but risky. Should in case your #250 is being deducted without the plan giving to you; just call customer care and they will rectify the issue or return your money. Happy surfing free! 1. Download Hotspot shield here
2. Install it on your computer as normal.
3. Connect your modem (make sure your MTN Sim is inside your modem)with the default APN and wait for the Hotspot to connect, once it connects it will not disconnect. Start surfing with unstopable speed
This Hotspot shield will bail you out of your network predicament.
But hotspotshield use to come with freeware which are virus at times…

Chairman I mixed everything up, I did evrything upto the end but didn't send thoes codes.. Because in the original post there was no code part, but now I sent it after 72hours and it tells me that I have reverted to the 5k/kb plan. I haven't tried it yet to see if it will work..

can confirm its working like a charm as my credit balance has remained intact but only issue is the random disconnection after a few mins this can be a little frustrating. OP do you have flawless connection on phone or is it a network issue? help needed

@Anonymous Check ur phone, it may not yet switch to 3G & if so try to switch it to 3G by Click Menu >> Settings >> Phone >> Network >> Network mode then change it to UMTS
If it is already switch to 3G which means is d network problem & it will normal later.

Hello i just sent 2h to 131 and they did not give me any data plan i had call customer care and they said they will give me later and if i dont get it after 24hrs they will refund my money but now i want to do another sim so i can get to browse to night pls is it *107# that i should use and remove for 24hrs befores send rest to 131 and rest to 4777 pls respond to me so i can do it and pls how sure are you does it still work… Hope to hear from you soon…

To my viewers who have been unable to activate theirs, Here is the new procedure to get it done.
Insert your Sim into a Torch Light Phone
Load #250 airtime
Dial *107# then remove the Sim
Off the phone for 24Hrs
Then send reset to 131, then send reset to 4777 again. After that, you are good to go.
So if you still want to activate yours, follow the above steps accordingly it is still working fine and fast. Pls sir is this the new code that works pls get back to me if it is this one so i can do mine now so if i send the code i will just remove my sim for 24hrs and the send rest pls is this all i need
@Eharmony Havard My guy, don't let me lie 2 u , i don't ave any special codes 2 send 2 u, than d 1 u are looking above & is working fine, when u follow d procedure accordingly.
If u subscribed & it expired prematurely, u can still proceed 2 d next step & ur sim will also activated like dat.

But I did de procedure, but 4got to aplly the reset code, and it not workin 4me.. Its up to 3days now, I want to knw if I can jus try to apply the code.. Will it still wok?
What happened to me is a very long story….i loaded my #250 on 7th june about 11:14pm [night]but my money was deducted and i didn't recieve the bundle…..the next morning, i called the customer care agent and they apologised, after which i recieved a message that my 2hr 1-day plan has expired…..frustrated i removed my mtn sim till around 12:15am on 9th june….and i sent reset to 131 just to try my luck, only for me to recieve a message that my 2hr 1-day plan is still active and dat i av used 0mins and dat it will expire 23:14 dat day [9th june]……i then continued with the oda steps…..i browsed for 31minutes and removed my sim around 1:15am and removed the sim for 25hrs and put it back on the 10th june at about 2:30am and sent reset to 131 and 106 to 131 [the plan was supposed to have expired]…..but i recieved a message saying, "DEAR CUSTOMER, your 2hrs 1-day data plan is still active. You have used 31mins of 2hrs: expires 09-june-2013 23:14". But the time is already past the expiry date……i tried loggn in to 2go and it worked…..though i have 9mb on my sim b4……i then sent 2 to 131 and recieved a message saying "Y'ello! You have used 32mins of your 2hrs 1-day data plan. Expires: 9th june 2013 23:14. Your data will be temp. Suspended when it is exhausted"…….immediately i plucked out the sim again….. Now i'm pretty confused weda i should wait another 24hrs…. Please Help. Its 3:32am on 10th june now…..why hasn't it expired yet?

@IBK U are to start counting d time (24 hour) since when u removed d sim, not when u subscribed. Then put it back after 24 hour & make sure u send d 2 codes b4 starting browsing.

But EDGE is slow and disconnects regularly and HSPA works fine with high speed that last for about 2 hours then disconnect, hard to get it steady mostly i receive WCDMA signal.
To remain constant i have to change setting to 2G only. while keeping the connection always active.
How do we get HSPA constantly.
Please look into this review for i have taken time to cross check it for weeks. If anyone has constant HSPA, let me know.

After 3 days since subscribing for 2hr-1day plan, the plan has still not expired.i subscribed for betterme data bundle successfully 24hrs after I had done the ,2hr plan. But I still can't browse.
