A few weeks ago, Airtel stopped their 4GB of N1,500 promo which was quite economical and very affordable for the average Nigerians, many Airtel subscribers were not happy with that decision. Today I actually got a great news for Airtel subscribers, Airtel has introduced new Android data bundle with N2,000 you can get 4GB and with N3,500 you can get 9GB, both are valid for 60 days. They are promo plan like that of 4GB for 2k which was blocked, but it’s unfortunate that not all Airtel lines will be able to accept this new Android subscription, to verify either your line will be among of eligible/qualified, just follow the below procedure:
- Before you load the required amount to your phone for those Android data plans.
- Simply dial *437*1# for the Android bundle of 4GB for N2,000 or dial *438*1# for the Android bundle of 9GB for N3,500
- When you receive a message: “Dear customer, you do not have sufficient balance for this plan”, which means your line is eligible for the offer.
- Proceed with the loading of required amount to your account.
- But if after dialing the code, you get this message “Dear customer, you do not qualify for this plan”, don’t load the money on it because it will not work for that line, but you can always try other Airtel Sims at your disposal, definitely one would turn up for you or go for the Airtel First Android Bundle (AIS) which support all Sims.
After you have confirmed that your line is eligible, here are the procedure to get 4gb for 2k:
- Load your Airtel line with N2,000 Airtime.
- Then dial *437*1#.
- You’ll be credited with 4GB data bundle valid for 60 days.
- To check your Android data balance, simply dial *223#.
To Subscribe for New Android bundle of 9GB for 3.5k
- Load your Airtel line with N3,500 Airtime.
- Then dial *438*1#.
- You’ll be credited with 9GB data bundle valid for 60 days.
- To check your Android data balance, simply dial *223#.
The research is going on to finding the means of making this new Airtel Android bundle plans eligible for any Airtel Sim. Because this new Android bundle plan seems to be the cheapest data plan for now.

Yes, it will but you may need to set your blackberry APN to internet.ng.airtel.com by going to:
Advanced Options > TCP/IP. Tick use APN, user name, and password, then insert the above APN, save your setting and you are good to go.

You should have experience in the issue of sending messages,especially bulk message, not all people we sent message to, will be able to received message due to network error. Don't mind those @ that CC, as long as your sim is eligible, go ahead & subscribe to it and you will enjoying it.

This package is not working in Nigeria. I tried to subscribe using the codes given here but I only get a response instructing to subscribe for the older packages instead.

The 4gb and 9gb do not seem to be working any longer. I was using the 4gb which is now finished but on trying to check eligibility again, it now refers me to the normal android bundles. Please do you know why?

Hello sir, sorry I'm commenting on this a Lil late…i checked my eligibility the last time for the 2k 4gb offer and I was eligible but on trying to subscribe it kept telling me invalid or something can't remember. I eventually had to subscribe to the normal 2k 2gb plan is dere anything I can do…I've also noticed airtel has a way of siphoning data which is very strange 2gb barely lasts for 10 days even without serious downloads or online streaming…any advice with that? The plan works but your internet connection speed is automatically reduced most times to about 50kb/sec. !!!? They always find a way to hoax customers.
