Smartphones released by Infinix are always captivating. We can not help but notice this upcoming Android smartphone called Infinix S2 Pro X522. The smartphone is a now a popular subject of discussion. You are very familiar with the dual rear camera and different companies implementing it for different purposes. TECNO uses their dual setup on the Phantom 6 for focus and blurring. Huawei uses their dual setup for color and depth where one camera shoots in color and the other is a monochrome lens, but let me tell you, Infinix S2 Pro is totally different.

The Infinix S2 Pro is the “world’s first Wefie” smartphone!  Wefie, pronounced as “WE-fee”, is simply a selfie but with two or more people in it. Urban dictionary describes wefie as a plural of a selfie.  Having said that, let’s get down to the “world’s first wefie smartphone”.

The S2 Pro is a smartphone with dual front selfie cameras. This is quite different from what we see from other brands which boast of dual back cameras. S2 Pro is the successor of the Infinix Hot S with several upgrades in specifications and features. The smartphone is really beautiful and the design gives the smartphone a premium look and feel. The Infinix S2 Pro runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Infinix customized interface known as the XOS Chameleon. It is powered by Octa-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 MediaTek MT6753 chipset. Also, this phone features a 2.5D display screen.

It comes with 2 selfie cameras and 1 rear camera

  • 13MP huge lens is for wide angle selfies called Wefie – (ultra-wide 135° angle)
  • 8MP smaller lens is for normal selfies
