Airtel Special Priviledge Offer: Get 6GB Worth of Data For Just N1,500

Airtel NG has here with an awesome data offer to challenge the champion of cheapest data plan —Globacom. The offer was tagged as Special Privilege and it offers Airtel subscribers 6GB for just N1,500 with a month validity.

Airtel Special Priviledge offer

Hope you guys still remember the Airtel Blackberry complete bundle that goes for N1,500 per 3GB? In which the plan is blazing well on non blackberry devices without the special setting. The former plan of N1,500 for 3GB has now upgraded to 6GB for that same N1,500. This should be a very nice offer for those who think they value the use of huge data and this plan works for all devices ranging from Android, BB10, iPhone/iPad, Laptops, Windows phone, Symbian/Java phones; you just name it. But the only problem we have with Airtel is their SIM eligibility issues on their numerous surprises. It’s unfortunate that not all Airtel SIMs will be able to benefit from this offer, but at least 70% of Airtel SIMs are eligible for this offer. Kindly dial *440*161# on your Airtel sim to know if you qualify for the offer. If you are eligible, you should see a message like: Dear Customer, you do not have sufficient balance for this plan. And if not, you will receive a message like: Dear customer, you are not eligible for this offer. Kindly dial *141*1# to select other Blackberry offers. To Subscribe For The Offer » If you are eligible, load your Airtel sim card with N1,500 airtime » Dial *440*161# to subscribe » Also dial *123*10# to check your data balance at any time. Note that you don’t need to be on any special Airtel tariff plan before you will qualify for this. Airtel has been known for “data zapping” but I must tell you that this plan zaps data but not much. I mean the zapping might not even be noticeable by you unless you used a data monitoring meter to observe how much data you use. Airtel resolved the data zapping issue with this offer, so I prefer this plan than any other at the moment. Enjoy the offer! I hope it doesn't zap like the 3gb one. I don't even know if the 3gb one has stopped zapping. Because if it's still zapping then it's as useless as trying to catch air.

  2. Lol u can actually make it 7.5gb ..load with *555*pin# to get 1.5gb free with ur 1500 airtime still intact then u can sub with it to get the 6gb making it 7.5gb total.. Nice one airtel ..kudos shelaf boss.

  3. Airtel are at their worst behaviour again, reaping their customers off, for two consecutive days now, I have subscribed to their night browsing but can't open a single page with it, please someone should confirm to me that it's not only me that is experiencing this nonsense b4 I take the fight to there Twitter handle, this is a treasonable offense. Standing by for now…

  4. Guys. Am currently using the plan. And so far it's been good. The deduction is okay. Will keep u posted if anything changes. Plus looks like it's always not eligible for smartconnect Sims. Cos me including four pple have testified to it. Am currently using my old Sim. If it's eligible on ur smartconnect Sim, please let the house know

  5. Is The airtel 3gig 1000 still working, I did the sub 3days ago, it went through but it hasn't not connected since then.

  11. Interesting, airtel have been surprising us since time immemorial. I heard the data zaps but I haven't confirmed it.
