For you to complete the Organisation registration form for the survival fund 2020, you will be required to provide your business SMEDAN Unique Identification Number (SUIN) alongside the CAC Number, Tax ID (optional), and the organization’s bank account details.
The SMEDAN number is also one of the requirements to participate in empowerment programs and entrepreneurship training programs organized by SMEDAN in Nigeria. For example, it is required to access SMEDAN’s Conditional Grant Scheme (up to N50,000 per MSME). The SMEDAN ID will eventually become a major requirement to access Federal, State, and Local Government interventions.
If you want to get SMEDAN number or SMEDAN ID in Nigeria, you will have to register at the SMEDAN Registration Portal. Registration is FREE!
The SMEDAN business registration exercise is open to all Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises operating in Nigeria, including artisans, traders, tailors, fashion designers, spare part dealers and so much more.
SMEDAN mass registration of the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria is expected to facilitate the development of a comprehensive database for MSMEs in the country and ensure their growth, sustainability, and diversification.
MSMEs that are registered on SMEDAN official website portal – www.smedanregister.ng, would be allowed by the agency to gain access to funding support, empowerment, training, and other facilities provided by federal government agencies as well as other lending and support institutions at the federal, state and local government levels.
Successfully registered MSMEs would be issued a Digital MSME Certificate, as well as a SMEDAN Unique Identification Number (SUIN).
The registered MSMEs would also gain subsidised access to specialised advisory and Business Development Support (BDS) services, in addition to free mentorship services, and would be allowed to participate automatically in government procurement processes; ensuring tax holidays and other incentives.
