Tecno Phantom A1 also known as Tecno F7 is indeed an awesome Smartphone and currently one of the cheapest smartphone in the Nigerian mobile market compared to other smartphones of same specification. So many people are currently buying this phone and today I want to share with you how to root Tecno F7 so as to gain root user access to your device. You can customize your Smartphone as you like once you can gain a root access on it using the method I am going to share with you now.
Steps to Root Tecno Phantom A1 or F7
- Download and install the compactible version of PDA.net for your PC OS here.
- Download ERoot fromhere or here
- Connect your phone to your PC
- Enable USB debugging on your Android phone in Settings > Applications > Development.
- Install the PDA.net you downloaded earlier on your PC.
- During the installation you’ll be prompted to select your cell phone manufacturer and also connect your device via USB.
- Click on Ok and allow to install
- Extract and run the ERoot downloaded. Ignore the Chinese Language displayed.
- A root button would appear. If it doesn’t, close the pda.net running from your system tray.
- Click on the root button and your phone would be rooted in 10 seconds.
- Disconnect your phone from your pc or laptop.
- Goto your menu and you will find superuser installed.
- Reboot yourTecno Phantom A1 or F7.
- Congratulations your phone is now rooted.

Yeah, it should work perfectly on the A+ as both devices have the same model number
Currently i don't ave d info 4 rooting Gionee Ctrl v1 but ur point are noted & d post will made 4 it as soon as i get d suite method for it.

yes, i just bought a phantom a+ and i did not see any where i can tick the usb debugging option. please check to see if this is the right directions for rooting the phantom a+ and not the normal phantom a. thanks

It is better 2 use ur friend pc but if dia is no other means u can use cyber cafe as u said.

Dat problem does nt occurred as a result of rooting, it may depend on ur local network, try 2 retest it wit another good network.

Thanks for the wonderful tutorial, I rooted mine successfully but unfortunately I encountered a serious problem My wifi, Bluetooth refused to turn on again and my F7 is hot and draining my battery. pls I need ur help
this method does not allow you to unroot.
Try 2 restore ur phone 2 factory setting & feed me back ao it response then but i don't think such problem may arise as a result of rooting bcz i ave never experience such & i ave rooted lots of Android phone.
