It's not unlimited though Airtel refers to it as unlimited, it has data cap of 2GB only, and doesn't work on other devices.
NB: I used to use the former plan of 1,200/1GB on my Android but haven't risked testing this cos people say it doesn't work on other devices.

I urge any body who had try d above code on other non-blackberry phone/pc should kindly share his experience with others.

Hi all the above Airtel unlimited is working perfectly and you don't need to insert the sim into a blackberry. I sent *440*16# straight from my HTC DESIRE and wn I got d confirmation sms I quickly removed my ba3 and insert it bck. I checked my balance and it was actually 2gig. Well that's wat am enjoying for now since the Airtel 5g,10g & 19g is no longer active.

@Anonymous Open d mtn modem app on ur desktop, look up & click "Tools" then scroll down & click "Options" then click "Profile management" also look up @ d right side & click "New" fill it as follow:
Profile Name: Airtel wap or any thing
APN: tick "Static" to have acess 2 d box dia, then fill APN with internet.ng.airtel.com
Acess number or Dial up: *99#
Username & password: Empty
Click "Ok" to save d setting & close dat page.
Now @ connection homepage, in d box show to u, choose Airtel wap or any name u used to save it & click connect.
That is all.

Does it work for samsung galaxy s3
1. send deactivate to 440
2. load #100 to ur phone
3. dial *141*712*11#
4 u will be given 10mb
5. u can then start browsing with the initial 2gb (unlimited) +the 10mb.
6 dont bother about the expiry. the expiry date is still for the one month given for the unlimited earlier on.
7 the #100 is to make u start using the unlimited plan.
8 this is what am using now. it has worked

Since it is working on ur Android which means d subscription is working fine, it u don't get d actual setting 2 make it work on ur pc. Remember dat u are 2 insert internet.ng.airtel.com as APN on ur modem.

Please be patient & check ur setting very, it is a must 4 it 2 work after u top it up with 10mb. Also note d Edge or 3G appeared on ur line bcz dia are some Airtel line has GPRS problem.

Airtel deactivation code is no more working like b4, if u send deactivate to 440 b4 u subscribe 4 10mb & ur active 2gb is wiped away, dat is ur own problem.
U don't need 2 send deactivate b4 u can top it up with 10mb bcz 10mb code is a normal plan subscription & it will accept it directly since it is nt bb subscptn on bb subscptn.

By d way, why do u send deactivation? it was nt stated in any of my instruction dat u should send deactivation, dat may also give u problem too bcz dey may deactivate ur current plan till u subscribe another 1.

Yes is still working fine, i resubscribed to mine @ yesterday & i also did it 4 1 of my friend dis morning, both of them are working well.
Just load #100 & top it up with 10mb of *141*712*11# only if it refuse 2 work.
I can boldly confirm what Shelaf posted that the BB plan is still working well and fine. I have done my second subscription this year and should be expiring on1st April. The only problem is if Airtel network is not strong around your location, it tends to be rather slow and non-responsive.

We subscribers should post on their webpages like FB & Twitter to stop exploiting us through the high amount for their subscriptions… Letting them know they took what we enjoy from them being the best network… E.g: the 2GB PLAN which was reduced and later stopped working. Lets keep complain on all their social networking sites. Both Airtel, MTN..
