This simply means that you can now generate token code any time you want to complete third party transfers, by dialing *737*7# on the phone number linked to your GTBank account. If you are intending to get token device and you are not yet applying for it, I suggest you keep your N2,000 for another thing, now you can easily generate token code via USSD. For those that have token device, you don’t need to carry your GTBank token device with you everywhere you go like necklace anymore. Just dial the GTBank USSD token code on your phone, enter your NUBAN, enter the last 6 digits of your GTBank Naira Mastercard and you are good to go.

To generate token with the ussd code is not working .. if u dont pay for the token device and gtb confirm it to your account ..the ussd code will not work for an account that doesn't have the token device. Sheriff did u tried it lately

…in addition the token charge via ussd cost 10 naira each time you request so if you are a heavy user you might as well get the hardware token.
