As is the case with Instagram, WhatsApp users can now make voice or video calls with up to four people in total at any time and anywhere. WhatsApp group voice and video calls feature have been rolled for all iOS and Android users globally. WhatsApp group calls will be end-to-end encrypted, just like chats.
Video calls have been supported by WhatsApp since the year 2016 but until now they were limited to two participants. Now, WhatsApp is rolling out Group audio and video calling to all users beginning from today. You can simply connect your friends, family in a group video call regardless of the network condition. How to Use WhatsApp Group Calling (Voice/Video) Just start a one-on-one voice or video call with a friend and tap the new “add participant” icon on the top right corner to add more contacts to the call. The feature is currently rolling out on the iPhone and Android versions of the app. Simply update your WhatsApp to the latest and you are good to go.
