It seems WhatsApp has heard our cries, they are now trying all their possible best to save us on the issue of spreading fake news most especially via broadcast and forward messages. Users of the instant messaging app will no longer be able to forward messages to more than 20 people.
WhatsApp had previously introduced the ‘forward message indicator’ a few weeks back in chats to make it clear when a user has received a forwarded message. The move is said to be targeted at fighting the spread of fake news, but, in Nigeria, it really is a double-edged sword. Forwarding messages to 20 people still appear to be too much – Maximum of 5 should be okay. More social networks and online platforms are said to be considering copying the move.

I still maintain my word, I don't have Official Whatsapp or Telegram Group. The one you are seeing on the screenshot above was created by a fan like you. I'm an ordinary member there, just to monitor the activities going on there since my name attached to it and I'm pleased with what they are doing there, that is the reason why you are seeing it on my Whatsapp main menu. I don't know anything on how they are adding people to the group.
