July subscriber data released by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Airtel gained a total of 906,400 customers in July to become second. Airtel currently has 123,327 subscribers more than Globacom that has occupied the position for years.
Now that Airtel has acquired the position as the 2nd largest telecom provider in Nigeria, they’ll try all they can to maintain that position. So, if you are not eligible or no longer eligible for 1GB for N200 on MTN and 9mobile 1GB for N200, then it is the right time to switch to the Airtel network.
Airtel New Special Data Offer allows you to purchase 4GB, 2GB, 1GB, and 200MB data at N1,000, N500, N200, and N100 respectively. As you can see, this plan is similar to the MTN welcome back offer and it is SIM selective, which means it is based on SIM eligibility.

SIM Validity and Eligibility
All Airtel valid Sim cards can access this new offer, but not every Airtel User is eligible for this new data offer.
The offer is valid just for Airtel customers who have not performed any rechargeable transactions on their Sim card for the past 30 days and above.
The subscription code stated above works on all Airtel Sim cards, but if you are not eligible, when dialing the code stated above, you are directed to the offer page that lists the available offers, but when you choose an option you’re directed to the next page which only tells you ‘Dear customer, you are not eligible to buy this data bundle. Please dial *141# to activate another data bundle’. This means you are not eligible for the offer. However, if you don’t have enough airtime and you got a reply like “Dear customer, you have insufficient balance to purchase this data bundle. Please recharge and try again” then it means you are eligible. If you have enough airtime, you will be subscribe to the selected plan.
Can I Accumulate the Data?
