Globacum customers in Nigeria will now be able to stream their favorite YouTube videos for as low as N50 per hour as Nigeria’s first indigenous telecom operator launched new YouTube time-based data bundles, the plan is just like the MTN YouTube-based plan that allows subscribers to stream YouTube videos with N50 for 1 hour.
The company said in a press release issued in Lagos that it initiated the Youtube-specific data plans to give its customers the opportunity to enjoy Youtube contents at the industry’s most competitive rates.
“We are excited to launch these new plans to enable all our esteemed customers to enjoy exciting Youtube content at a much cheaper rate than they are typically used to. The launched plans will add to our bouquet of innovative and affordable price offerings and allow more subscribers to access our products and services”. Said by Globacom.
The new Glo bundle gives you access to 60 minutes videos, movies, comedies, learning, or even stream live services to those who are religious or do all the things you love on YouTube for only N50.
The Glo YouTube time-based bundles come in four price packs:
- N50 for 1 hour
- N130 for 3 hours
- N50 for 5 hours (Night)
- N200 for 7 hours (Night)
A fair usage policy on each of the plans with fixed volume will be applied,” the company said.

How to Subscribe to Glo Time Based YouTube Bundles
- Make sure you have a minimum of N50 airtime on your phone
- Dial *777# to choose from the line-up of exciting plans.
- Select Data >> Buy Data >> Social Bundle, and finally, choose YouTube Bundle.
On activation, you choose to get a message that your subscription is successful, after which you can proceed to YouTube to stream your favorite videos.
