Season 6 of Africa’s most popular reality show, Big Brother Naija, started on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29 at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, and Africa Magic Family all aired the BBNaija live program.
Some GOtv users have been unable to watch the BBN show on their decoders due to technical difficulties. Some people are claiming that BN GOtv channel 29 isn’t working, while others claim that GOtv channel 29 is presenting an invalid channel. After resetting or rescanning the GOtv decoder, some users were able to remedy the issue.
Whatever the problem may be, if you’re certain your GOtv subscription hasn’t expired, attempt the following fix:
- On your GoTV remote, press “Menu.”
- Choose “Advanced Settings” from the drop-down menu.
- Choose “Installation” from the drop-down menu.
- Choose “tuning” from the drop-down menu.
- Select “automatic scan”.
- “OK” should be selected.
When the scanning is finished, hit the escape button on your remote and go to channel 29 on GOtv.
Restarting your GOtv decoder is also an option.
