Honor X20 5G’s official specs released two days before the launch

The Honor X20 5G and Magic 3 series are two Honor phones expected to launch later this week. The former is currently listed in the brand’s official online shop in China, along with a thorough specification sheet.

The X20 5G has a 6.67-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and a pill-shaped cutout with a 16MP primary camera in the upper left corner. The phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 900 Processor, 6/8GB RAM, and 128/256GB storage that can be expanded through microSD card.

A 64MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and EIS is located on the back. A 2MP depth assist and a 2MP macro cam are included in the following traits. A 4,300 mAh battery with 66W rapid wired charging, Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 on the software side, and a 3.5mm headphone port round out the key specifications.

The Honor X20 5G is available in three colors: black, blue, and silver. The phone’s cost and availability details are the only remaining unknowns, which will be revealed after Thursday’s (August 12th) conference.

Is It Worth Waiting For The Honor X20 5G?

Following its split from Huawei, Honor is progressively stepping up the pace with smartphone announcements. The X20 5G is a modern mid-range smartphone with decent specifications. It will be a good choice for people who desire a somewhat less expensive device like the OnePlus Nord 2 or the Poco F3 GT without sacrificing much in terms of user experience.

Nonetheless, the smartphone will be a great option for customers who want to try something different than what Realme, Xiaomi, Oppo, and other companies have to offer.
