The new Galaxy S22 series from Samsung appears to be rather amazing. The phones are being marketed for their camera capabilities, and information on the hardware that drives that performance has finally been disclosed, along with a few surprises.
According to the mobile phone company during the introduction.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra combines the beloved functionality of the Galaxy Note with the most celebrated aspects of the S Series to provide a completely unique mobile experience. This is a significant advancement in mobile technology, setting up a new standard for what a smartphone can be.”
Lee introduced the Galaxy S22 Series, which is available in three models and is designed to improve users’ experiences. He stated that those who want devices that fuel creativity and self-expression would benefit from the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+, which are designed to make every moment epic with dynamic cameras, enhanced image processing, and large bright displays.
“Consumers want to make excellent videos at any time of day or night.” Samsung set out to take your creative to the next level with Nightography capabilities for smoother, clearer night-time video and photographs. Your creativity doesn’t stop just because it gets dark. For the first time in Samsung smartphone history, the newest 4nm technology provides spectacular performance. Despite the fact that 5G network coverage in Nigeria is minimal, the Galaxy S series is improved with 5G capabilities to allow you game, stream, and work across all your favorite apps with great ease,” Lee added.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has the same 108 MP camera as the Galaxy S21 Ultra—the 1/1.33″ S5KHM3 with 0.8m pixels—as the range-topping model. The 12 MP and 1/2.55″ IMX563 under an ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as two 1/3.52″ IMX374 under two separate zoom lenses, round out the lineup.
The telephoto lens on the Galaxy S21 Ultra featured Samsung’s K3J1, and while the IMX374 is somewhat smaller, it takes far better images on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra—at least according to the review camera samples. However, it’s worth noting that the primary 108 MP sensors are the same, while previous sources had suggested a new sensor. The 40 MP, 1/2.8″ S5KGH1 sensor, which is also found on the Galaxy S21 Ultra, is located on the front of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+
The Galaxy S22 and S22+, on the other hand, feature all-new primary cameras. Both ditch the 12 MP IMX555 in favor of Samsung’s new 50 MP 1/1.56″ GN3 sensor. The ultra-wide-angle camera of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the same IMX563. Finally, Samsung dropped the S20 and S21’s 64 MP fake zoom camera in favor of a real 3x zoom lens combined with a 10 MP K3K1. The K3K1 appears to be a milder version of the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s K3J1. On the selfie front, both phones keep the 10 MP IMX374 from their predecessors.
