Tecno Pova Neo with Dual Rear Cameras, 6,000mAh battery launched in Nigeria

Tecno, a Chinese phone manufacturer, has introduced the all-new Pova Neo entry-level smartphone in Nigeria. The phone was widely teased, and now it’s official without setting off any alerts. The smartphone’s main selling points are its enormous 6,000mAh battery, MediaTek SoC, and attractive design.

The handset has a stylish design and a 6.8-inch notch display. Sports a huge 6.8-inch display with an HD+ resolution (1640 x 720 pixels). It boasts a touch sampling rate of 120Hz and a narrow bezel design.

The device has a triple camera system with a 13MP main sensor, a secondary sensor, and a tertiary sensor. It sports an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. Powered by an Unknown MediaTek CPU that runs at 1.8GHz. It has up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The battery is one of its main selling points. It has a massive 6,000mAh battery capacity and supports 18W rapid charging.

It runs Android 11 out of the box, with HiOS 7.6 on top. For enhanced protection, the smartphone includes a fingerprint scanner. Not to mention that it still offers the face recognition option.

The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage edition of the Tecno Pova Neo costs around N71,000 to N75,500 ($180). The smartphone is available in three colors: Geek Blue, and Obsidian Black.
