The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G is getting a big upgrade. It will charge super fast! A new leak shows it can charge at 45W. That’s the same speed as the expensive Galaxy S24 Plus and Ultra. Want to know when those phones are coming out? Check out the latest on the Samsung Galaxy S25 series launch date.
This makes the A56 the fastest-charging phone in Samsung’s mid-range A series. It’s a big jump from the older A55. You can read our in-depth review of the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G to see how it compares.
What about wireless charging?
Probably not. The A55 didn’t have it, and Samsung usually doesn’t include it on mid-range phones.
No charger in the box
Like most new phones, the A56 won’t come with a charger. You’ll need to buy one separately. Make sure you get a 45W charger with a USB Type-C cable to get the fastest charging speed.
What else is new?
The A56 will have a new processor, the Exynos 1580. This means it will be much faster than the old A55. It will also have at least 8GB of RAM, and maybe even 12GB.
The phone will run Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI. We don’t know much else about it yet, but it should come out in early 2025.
