The upcoming Galaxy S21 series isn’t exactly a secret anymore with numerous leaks already detailing the specifications and possible launch prices. While we have previously seen an unofficial review of the Galaxy S21 Plus, new images of the handset in the wild have now emerged thanks to known leaker @MauriQHD on Twitter.
This particular Galaxy S21 Plus seems to be the Phantom Violet variant and the leaked photos seem to be quite legitimate at first glance. The photos indicate extremely slim bezels on all four sides and a triple-camera setup at the back. There’s a confidentiality sticker seen as well. Certain portions of the screen seem to be redacted to possibly protect identifiable information.
From what we know so far, the Galaxy S21 Plus and the Galaxy S21 share a lot of common specs with the primary difference being screen size and battery capacity. The Galaxy S21 Plus is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC in the US and Korea while the rest of the world gets an Exynos 2100.
A 6.7-inch Full HD AMOLED+ Infinity-O 120 Hz display, 4,800 mAh battery, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB storage, a 20 MP selfie camera in a punch-hole, a triple-camera setup comprised of 12 MP f/1.8, 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and 64 MP f/2.0 3x telephoto lenses, and One UI 3.1 round up the S21+ spec sheet.
The Galaxy S21 Plus is expected to retail for $1,290 for the 128 GB storage variant. According to known tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Galaxy Unpacked event is slated to take place on January 14, at 3 PM GMT. Pre-orders for the S21 series are already live in the U.S.
